Newborns. Families. Dogs who think they’re babysitters. I photograph the early days honestly—through the chaos, the quiet, and the real-life moments that actually matter. No fluff. No forced poses. Just your story, in the place it's begining.
Storytelling for Dog People and Their Tiny Humans
Truth Bomb from a professional newborn photographer of 10 years - You don’t need a studio to get powerful newborn photos. What you need is your home, the place where everything is happening right now. Where siblings run wild, the dog claims the nursery, and your baby is learning the shape of your arms. This isn’t just about your newest baby. It’s about the full picture: parents figuring it out, grandparents stopping by, a family in motion. I document that. The real grit of life. The kind things you will want to remember later, trust me. Whether you're in Spokane, Colville, or somewhere out on the Palouse this is photography for your life.
The baby photos you’ll want later aren’t styled or staged. They’re the ones that are baked in love, relaxed moments and make you feel when you see them.
Life won’t pause for a perfect shot. Crying babies, barking dogs, snack breaks… that’s the good stuff (promise). You'll laugh, smile (and maybe cry) later.
A spotless house doesn’t make better photos. The mess is part of the memory. Half-finished nursery, Amazon boxes in the corner, dog nose prints on every glass surface. Small spaces welcome!
Capture these irreplaceable moments at home with your newborn in your arms. I use a laid back photography style that just lets you be a family with every raw, beautiful emotion included.
Remember what it feels like to be yourself with the people, dogs, or landscapes that mean the world to you.
Adventure included.
Maternity photos don’t have to feel stiff or overdone. These laid-back, documentary-style sessions focus on what this season really looks like—dogs, toddlers, real life—available around Spokane or at home.
I can’t wait to show you how good the chaos looks when you get to see it from the outside.
Forget the polished magazine version of family. I’m after the lived-in version — snack breaks, dog hair, and the baby deciding the timeline. Because that’s what your story actually looks like, and that’s what lasts.
Documentary-style photographer, dog lover, and would-live-outside-if-that-was-normal — I’m MaryBeth. These days my heart belongs to photographing the early chapters of family life for Spokane are families: pregnancy, newborns, and the chaos (dogs included) that comes with them.

With MB you get real life images. The ones that are the most precious, not perfect glamorous ones, but the ones that make you laugh, the ones you want to hang up in your house and enjoy forever. The sessions have NO pressure, you just come as you are.

Family portraits are very important. My family consists of two rescue dogs. one in a wheelchair and one missing an eye, and completely blind. Family photography under normal circumstances, is usually pretty stressful. With my crazy crew you would think it would be a nightmare day. The reality is we had an amazing day! It did not feel like we were having family photos taken, it felt like we were having a fun adventure. When I got the photos back I couldn't even believe my eyes!

We have gotten our family photos done with MB Bryant Images twice now and both times have just been blown away. She is amazing with kids and pets and captures our family as they are. No awkward poses. We hope we can continue to work with her for years to come!

MB is amazing! I am a small business owner living in Spokane and she took incredible branding photos of me with my dog Finn. Even though dogs have nothing to do with my business, Finn is part of my brand and he loves to join me on client meetings! Having Finn be part of the shoot made me feel way more comfortable and I truly had fun with him. The photos turned out so natural and real, you could see my genuine smile! The photos have already had an impact on my social media pages.

Social media, is not my jam. As much as I try and keep all the things current, the best way for me to start connected with Pacific NW families is through my month client newsletter.
In my newsletter I release my annual session sale, family photography availability, promotions, and advice for creating your own photo-worthy adventures together. Plus dog photos. Because I'm that dog person.
