Soul-filled moments await.
I believe you experience life in these in-between moments — embraced by your loved ones, surrounded by rad vistas, and really living, breathing, and connecting to the moment. Slow down or you’ll miss the view.
Inspiring families to get outside, create, and capture their own adventures
Accepting of all families and individuals, I’ll accommodate your needs and help you feel as prepared as possible with wardrobe tips, location scouting, and attention to your needs.
You could say I’m pet friendly, but it’s more that I photograph dogs and happen to be people friendly. If you have a dog, a duck, or a horse, I want you and your pet at the session. If we’re telling a story, your pet is an undeniable part of that story.
With me, you’ll receive a genuine representation of the way you do life. My style mixes gentle prompts with candid moments to honestly capture you and your family.

IN CASE YOU'RE NOT SURE
Brittany F | Spokane WA 2021
Turn around time is incredibly timely and her artistic style is really genuine, photojournalistic with deep colors and contrast. She captures moments I don't even notice are happening and they end up being some of my favorite shots. Lastly, the prints and albums are exceptional quality....even better than the online gallery. So one piece of advice...PRINT YOUR PHOTOS. MB was the first photographer to convince me of this and now I'll never go back to storing beautiful photos on thumb drives and never looking at them again.”
I love how she takes the time to get to know your needs and style before the shoot.

She made us on every occasion feel at ease and the end results of her photos were more than we could ever hope for! If you choose her to capture your memories you will not be disappointed!”

“MaryBeth did our family photos and it was a great experience! I was worried about my young kids and newborn cooperating. She got down on their level. Nothing was rushed and as a result we have some of the best family pictures ever! Would definitely recommend her as your next photographer!”

I mean the pictures are nice but I figured it really wasn’t worth spending the money. Boy was I wrong! She cared so much about capturing Fenris for who he is and our genuine relationship. I can’t wait to have a session with my other dog! 💖 I really encourage anyone in the Spokane area to check her out! I ordered 7 prints; they are all high quality, glossy photo paper and look amazing framed. If you look on her website at her portfolio, her pictures of humans are pretty good too ;)”
This experience completely changed my mind about professional photo shoots with my dogs

Do not hesitate! I have 2 special needs dogs which can make some photographers nervous, but this was far from the case! It was so fun, calm and just a great day. Not to mention the pictures are perfection!!! I take photos yearly; these are my all time favorites!”
If you are looking for a professional, calm, amazing quality photographer in Spokane and surrounding areas, you found your girl!
Frame those memories. One day, you’ll look up at that wall and wish you could get that time back. That kind of reminiscing isn’t possible without a printed photo.
Count down (but not for too long) the days until you receive the most exciting email you’ve seen in weeks — a link with your online gallery. I’ll send over your online gallery 2-4 weeks after the session. This is where you can use that handy customer portal to order albums and prints.
All I ask is that you show up authentically as yourself. I’ll hold space for you as you are, as opposed to creating something you’re supposed to fit into. No makeup? Cool. Bringing the dogs? Would you please? This is about recognizing everyday life and deciding that it’s epic just the way it is.
Two weeks before our session, keep your eyes peeled for a discovery questionnaire. This is how we begin to work out the best location for your family photos. I know some of the coolest photo locations in Spokane and will suggest a few that fit your preferences. I’ll touch base with you one week out as well to confirm details.
To get on my calendar, pay a deposit and sign an online contract. This is when you’ll get access to a customer portal where you can order prints and download images. And thanks to a private customer site, you’ll have everything you need to prepare and will know what to expect along the way.
Fill out the form (it’s super short!) on my contact page and I’ll get back to you with booking details. We can definitely schedule a quick chat if you want to ask questions or talk through the session in more detail. I don’t bite!

I approach every session like it’s your first time, sharing tips and details ahead of the session so you can show up comfortably and confidently. You’ll feel like you’ve done this before. I always see a noticeable difference after the first 10 minutes as you start to just live in the moment. We’ll talk, laugh, tell stories, and just explore the scenery while I take photos of your family.

That won’t be the first time, but I can tell you that it all works out. I want to see your kids throwing rocks, the dogs running wild and you just embracing the captivating chaos of what life really looks like. Some of these moments, that may feel stressful at first, result in the most authentic photos. Give it some time and space while I do what I do best — getting on their level with toys, treats, and patience. Plus, getting this energy out just makes it easier to calm down and let those carefree smiles show at the end of the session.

02. What if my kids and/or dog(s) are unruly?
I lean towards documenting raw, candid moments, but that doesn’t mean I won’t pose you at all. Trust me, having some guidance during a family photography session is reassuring! I’ll use gentle prompts and suggestions so we can get photos that really feel like you. Remember, I’ve been taking family photos for years! I know when you need a little more guidance and when I need to just step back and let your family do their thing.

03. What’s your posing style?
Rain is definitely a consideration for sessions outdoors. However, snow and wildfire smoke in the Inland NW are also trouble makers for scheduling.
After selecting your date, we will set a soft time for about an hour after sunrise or before sunset. The time isn't confirmed until 4 days out when we get a good look at the weather. It's rare an entire day won't work and we can normally shift our time a bit.
But there are those times when the weather just won't work for that day. I always hold 1 day a week for reschedule shoots, even in busy seasons.
04. What if it rains?
You have two opportunities to order professional wall art and products. When you first receive your booking proposal, you'll see options to add on art packages. This is the best time to bundle items together at the best rate.
After you receive your gallery, you will have access to a custom store for your photos. At this time you can order prints, metals, canvases and other premium quality photo products. All products bought through your store are high quality and additionally retouched for long lasting enjoyment.
05. How can I order product?
A $150 deposit is due at booking and the balance is due on the day of the shoot.
For orders over $400, I do offer payment plans to make premium quality wall art accessible to all families.
06. Do you offer payment options?
